In the morning of November 26, the Steering Committee for COVID-19 Prevention and Control in Di An city held a conference to review the prevention and control of the COVID-19 epidemic in the area. Over the past time, the city has focused on drastically directing COVID-19 epidemic prevention and control measures to early control and gain victory over the pandemic. From May to the end of November 2021, the whole city had 47,549 positive cases including 186 deaths, of which 45,743 cases were cured. The city is still quarantining and treating 1,620 cases. As of November 20, the city has injected 660,527 doses of vaccines as the number of people getting the first injection is over 80% and the number of people getting the 2 shots is over 60%.
Thanks to the participation of the whole political system with urgent and timely measures, the joint effort and consensus of people and businesses, and the sacrifices and unrelenting difficulties of frontline forces fighting the epidemic have contributed to the city's containment, control and victory over the pandemic. During the epidemic prevention and control, good models, solidarity and solidarity groups have emerged showing patriotism and faith of people and businesses in joint hands with the Party Committee and authorities in COVID-19 prevention and control.
