The program named Binh Duong children’s festive day opened successfully with the participation of 1,000 kids. The provincial Children’s House has launched a series of programs of recreation, life skill and aptitude practice for children. Accordingly, summer aptitude classes such as Aerobic, painting, dance, English, chess, marital art and so on have attracted about 800 children.
In addition, the provincial Children’s House focuses on activities to improve life skills for children through new program – “Dynamic teens learn good things” camping festival. Attending the camping festival, children enjoy basic knowledge on life skills, inspiring patriotism and national pride as well as practicing discipline, independence and determination to overcome challenges and difficulties in life.
According to Nguyen Phan Thai Anh, vice director of the provincial Children’s House said “This program contributes to bring a sustainable development for the society in the future because it will train a force full of standards and good moralities”.
Aside from gifted and life skill classes, the House holds many other entertainment activities for children. They include music, drama shows to cater for people in remote areas.
Moreover, the Children’s House-based art team and trumpet team make the effort to practice in preparation for the 6th Southern Trumpet Festival to be held at Tay Ninh province in the end of June and the 20th Pink Lotus Bud Festival to be held at Ca Mau province in July.
