The week of Young workers (YW) in 2013 has just begun and promised to create many more wholesome playgrounds for YW at localities. The close coordination between sectors and agencies has encouraged YW in production and bring a dynamic rhythm to lives of YW.

Take care of YW’s spiritual life
Localities within the province respond to YW’s week by organization of cultural, art and sport activities. For instance, at Thu Dau Mot city, the provincial Youth Union will hold the second exchange program 2013 for direct conversations between provincial leaders and YW on the theme of “Light up dreams of TDM city’s YW”, organize festivals for youths away from homes with activities such as family meals; innovative, eco-friendly fashion show; karaoke singing contest with topic “The joy on new homeland”. In addition, there will be 2 more events “Weekend playgrounds”, especially the sporting event and the computing contest “Fun with computers”, which will be hosted by the City Union in collaboration with the provincial YW supporting center. Health care activities were free health examination and medicines dispensation for 150 workers at Phat Trien Company (Phu Loi ward) conducted also by City Union and Young Physicians Club.
Ben Cat district is where many YW have been gathered, especially at My Phuoc 1, 2, 3 industrial zone, so many practical activities will take place at Tan Dinh, Thoi Hoa commune. The beginning is a ceremony to mobilize the YW’s week at My Phuoc Theater with many performances. It would been followed by informatics universalization classes for YW. Thuan An, Ben Cat, Tan Uyen district exercise local resources to give supporting portions to youths away from homes and in difficulty.
Many useful activities
Within YW’s week, Thuan An town will hold the event “Career Day”, laws, reproductive health consulting, A,B informatics diploma training for 200 Union’s members. Town’s Union and Youth association organize a contest of Laws of road traffic at Binh Hoa ward. Moreover, mobile trial and free laws consulting, a forum of “Light up YW’s dreams”, career day, “YW and urban civilization” discussion, “YW singing” contest, “Good nursing mothers” projects dissemination, reproductive health caring and consulting for female workers will also take place.
YW at Tan Uyen district can participate in YW festival with activities like folk games, sport competition, performances, classes of national defense knowledge training, Laws of Labor, Residence, Road traffic propaganda… , free health care, environmental knowledge contest.
