In the afternoon of March 18, Thu Dau Mot city held a meeting to commend organizations and individuals for doing well in volunteer on the occasion of the Full Moon Festival in January of 2022.
Promoting the results of previous years, in 2022, Thu Dau Mot city continues to organize businesses and benefactors to participate in volunteering and social charity activities during the January Full Moon Festival in the city. As this year's festival took place at a time of complicated developments of the COVID-19 epidemic, the festival activities were somewhat limited in size as well as the number of participants, but charity activities were still maintained with many meaningful activities.
On this occasion, People's Committee of Thu Dau Mot city presented a certificate of merit to the Executive Board of Thu Dau Mot Mazu Goddess Temple for their contributions in implementing the campaign of "building a cultural and civilized urban lifestyle" in the city; it commended 130 organizations and individuals for doing well in charity work on the occasion of the Full Moon Festival in January 2022.
