- Please tell us about purposes of this campaign?
- The purposes of the campaign to Making the world cleaner 2018 are to encourage the whole society to participate, especially gather the attention of the community, businesses to the meaning of environmental protection activities, thereby, the people of all walks of life are encouraged to raise awareness and take actions on environmental protection, environmental sanitation, and urban beauty.
Department of Natural Resources and Environment will collaborate with other departments and localities to further promote communication activities on environmental protection, heightening awareness and changing behaviors of the community towards environmental protection activities; At the same time, to launch clean-up campaign, call for people to voluntarily collect garbage, clean toilets, clear sewers, plant and care greeneries in public places throughout the province, contributing to environmental protection and building green - clean - beautiful Binh Duong.
- What are specific communication activities, sir?
- According to the plan, the department will cooperate with related units to boost visual communication and mass communication. Specifically, there will be 100 banners along streets, public areas, some main streets of Thu Dau Mot City, Binh Duong New City, at agency headquarters, where many passers-by and in the ceremony area to remind everyone to take action on environmental protection. More specifically, in response to the campaign, the department will launch clean-ups at wards in mid-September.
Particularly, from districts, towns and city to wards, communes and townships will organize many practical activities in various forms with the whole community’s participation, such as dissemination of laws to improve capacity for monitoring environmental protection activities; organize classes to disseminate knowledge about the environment, green lifestyles, energy saving, sustainable use of ecosystems and biodiversity resources; launch the movement "All people participate in environmental protection"; clear canals, drainage system to preserve residential sanitation; marching for environmental protection; examine knowledge on environment; integrate propagation contents, concrete and practical activities to raise awareness of environmental protection in daily activities.
With these practical activities, each district, town and city will select at least one route to collect garbage and clean up on 15 Sep, clear drainage, plant and care greeneries in public places, residential areas, agencies, units, schools, production and business establishments.

- In order for Making the world cleaner campaign become a daily job, the department will collaborate agencies and localities to strengthen inspection and supervision of establishments with high environmental pollution risks, creates public opinion and social pressure to condemn acts that pollute the environment, violate environmental protection laws, and indiscriminate exploitations, damages to natural resources; To propagate, popularize and encourage the use of environmentally friendly products; Encourage enterprises, production and business establishments, communities, people to engage in socialization and be responsible for environmental protection.
In addition, DoNRE proposed Fatherland Front Committees and mass organizations in Binh Duong to organize activities to respond to the campaign, such as launching sanitation campaigns, collecting and cleaning garbage in residential area ... encourage people not to litter indiscriminately at markets, residential areas, urban areas, motels, businesses...
