On the occasion of Full Moon Festival 2011, many units and localities across province granted gifts to poor kids. Tan Uyen district just held a full moon festive day with the theme of “full moon night”. The festive day lured local children by folk games, enjoying moon cakes, dragon dance, music show and fire work.
At the festive day, the district offered 964 gifts including moon cakes to needy children. On the occasion, the locality donated 500 gifts to other poor children. The festive day helped poor children enjoy a significant full moon festival.
On Sept. 10, Becamex ISC in cooperation with Ben Cat Industrial Park Trade Union and My Phuoc Industrial Park Development Company held a program named “6th My Phuoc full moon night” to bring a significant full moon festival to laborers’ children in My Phuoc IPs.
At the 6th My Phuoc full moon night, the organizing board granted more than 4,500 gifts including moon cakes, lanterns, and toothbrushes and so on to local children. Aside from enjoying gifts, the beneficiaries enjoyed folk games, dragon dance, gastronomy, music show…
The program attracted nearly 15,000 workers working at My Phuoc IPs and local people. The total expense of the program was worth of nearly VND800mil including sponsor from Becamex IDC, ISC, TDC, Bao Viet Insurance, Kim Oanh Real Estate Company, Mini Number One supermarket…
On the occasion of the 2011 Full Moon Festival, the provincial Taiwan entrepreneur society granted 3,000 boxes of moon cakes worth VND180mil to the local sponsor society for disabled people and poor patients. These gifts were granted to 3,000 orphans and disabled children in Ben Cat and Phu Giao districts.
