On the afternoon of November 29, a delegation from provincial Party Standing Committee, led by Vo Van Minh, Vice Secretary of provincial Party Committee and Chairman of provincial People's Committee, held a working session with provincial Police Agency’s Party Committee to discuss leadership and management work in implementing the "Development of Citizen Data Applications, Identification and Electronic Verification for National Digital Transformation in the period of 2022-2025, with a vision to 2030" project (Project No.06) initiated by the Government.
In 2024, notable achievements was to successfully issue social welfare accounts to over 79% of individuals enjoying social policies; pension payments and social insurance subsidies were processed using the National Citizen Data Platform, reaching more than 91%; in cooperation with the postal sector, more than 11,600 public service applications were supported and guided for online submission; over 1.4 million worker data records, more than 1 million household registration records and over 814,435 land data records were updated and cleansed on the National Digital Transformation Platform for Citizen Data.
At the meeting, delegates also discussed and raised several challenges in the process of implementing Project No.06 such as training human resources to support the project’s tasks; ensuring information security and safety; needing closer coordination between departments, sectors, localities, police forces...
Speaking at the meeting, Mr. Minh recommended that in the coming time, provincial Police Agency will continue playing an active advisory role for the Party Committee and local government in effectively implementing the tasks of Project No.06. He emphasized the need for stronger coordination between departments, sectors, units and localities in digital transformation efforts.
