A weekend playground, held at the 3 region sub-society in An Hoa hamlet, Hoa Loi commune, Ben Cat district, attracted numerous young workers groups of young workers in polite costumes registered to participate in a singing contest. Earlier, nearly 200 young workers enjoyed a collective birthday party.
Endless happiness was witnessed on faces of young workers who have birthday in March. The simple birthday party contained warm love of alien people. Kim Ngoc Them, alien worker of ESTA Vietnam Company, said “This is the first time I enjoy a collective birthday party. I feel very happy and hope that mass bodies and agencies will hold more weekend playgrounds for young workers”.
After the collective birthday party, young workers competed in singing contest, creating a lively ambience for whole rural area. Most of the songs focused on homeland love and so on. Nguyen Quang Loc, joining in the singing contest, said “I hope that my item will bring comfortable minutes for audiences”.
To have a perfect item, young workers spent much time to practice. Aside from contestants’ thorough preparation, role of head of sub-society was very important.
To create the weekend playground, Nguyen Tuan Vu, head of the 3 region sub-society spent much time and labor to mobilize young workers. In addition, he mobilized his wife and children to offer suppers for participants. “Alien young workers have no much joy, so weekend playgrounds help them re-create labor and attach long to Binh Duong”, Vu added.
Hoa Loi commune now has 11 sub-societies for young workers. Vo Van Het, the communal People’s Committee vice chairman, said “Over years, commune has paid much attention to laborers’ spiritual life, especially young workers. Specifically, mass bodies often hold cultural and artistic activities as well as gift visits to underprivileged young workers. Weekend playgrounds help them relax after working days. It is hoped that the provincial Youth Union will keep holding many significant playgrounds for young workers”.
