Market of Valentine’s gifts bustling

The number of customers flocking to stores to buy fresh flowers, cuddly toys, jewelry and chocolates as gifts for their Valentines has increased sharply.

Love’s gifts

Flower and gift shops to restaurants and coffee shops have created an impressive manner to lure customers on Valentine's Day. The price of gifts and fresh flowers, especially roses has skyrocketed. A bouquet of fresh flowers is ranged from VND100,000 to VND300,000. A rose is priced at VND10,000 whilst a gladiolus is sold for VND30,000-40,000.

Aside from fresh flowers, chocolates, cuddly toys, clothes are favorite products on Valentine's Day. Kim Hoa, the owner of a cuddly toy shop in Thu Dau Mot town, said “To meet the rising demand of customers on Valentine's Day, our shop display many new products with the price hike of VND10,00-20,000 per unit”.

Meanwhile, coffee shops and restaurants are busying for decoration to lure more customers. Besides, on Valentine's Day, many coffee shops offer attractive gifts for lovers. Specifically, Window and Misol coffee shops on Valentine's Day will donate interesting gifts to couples.

Service of in-door gift delivery

Service of in-door gift delivery has sprung up everywhere. The cost of flower delivery jumps from VND30,00 to VND50,000 per time.

Many young people said that despite price hike of flowers, gifts and service of in-door delivery, they want to spend surprised gifts to their partners.
