Chanh My Ward Association of Women has promoted environment protection in a bid to construct a beautiful, clean, and green urban area by calling for every local families to make use of dustbins, rubbish classification, and green tree planting across corners, etc.
Robust communication and mobilization
Ms. Do Thi Thu Ha, Chair of Chanh My Ward Association of Women informed that rubbish in urban areas had been problematic in the population community. This required education of rubbish classification and environment protection amongst strict punishment upon breaching persons.

In 2006, the Association promoted the use of dustbins and local rubbish classification before discarding to concentrated sites. The calling eyed 95% of families respond.
Meantime, the models initiated in 2013 have, up to date, yielded practical results.
Ha asserted that the awareness of some people was low , making it very popular to see people litering.
So as to restrict the litering, the Association has made robust communication and education to improve awareness of environment protection and hygiene while calling for members across 9 quarters to frequently clean up the sites of Chanh Loc 4 and 5 and Chanh My Market to eliminate the litering sites.
Modeling
Members of the association at Chanh Loc 4 Quarter are those modeling the environment protection. As informed by Mrs. Bui Thi Dung, Head of the quarter sub-association, plants and flowers have been planted in public spaces to create beautiful sites and eliminate possible sites of litering.
The modeling like Dung has prompted members to gather on Sundays to clean up the local streets and roads. At first, only key members joined; however, more and more have
The modeling has attracted more and more members locally engaging in cleaning up their homes. The activities have not only promoting to environment protection nad bond making of locals.
