In recent years, Dau Tieng district has made many efforts to implement socialization policies in the fields of education, healthcare, culture, and sports to improve the lives of the people. Initially, the district has achieved positive results thanks to consensus and cooperation from organizations and individuals in the community.

Gradual gaining of great results
Over the past time, the socialization policy has always been the focus and synchronized implementation of the entire political system of Dau Tieng district to mobilize social resources into the fields of education, healthcare, culture, and sports of the district. Thanks to the development of socialization work, many private schools, classes, and groups have been established. The district has also mobilized funds to invest in construction, repair, purchase of equipment, supplies, and toys for public schools. Beside that, the district has mobilized social resources to purchase teaching equipment, support poor students to overcome difficulties and excel in studying... Thanks to that, the quality of education in the district has been gradually improved.
Anh Sang Kindergarten in Dau Tieng town is one of the large-scale private kindergartens in Dau Tieng district with 7 groups of classes and 247 children. Ms. Nguyen Thi Kim Loan, the principal of the school, said that the school's funding comes from parents' tuition fees, without any financial support from the budget. The school also mobilizes support from parents to renovate the school's garden system, supplement outdoor toys, inside the classroom... to create a new look for the school, meet the needs of parents sending their children. In particular, many children in difficult circumstances are also supported by the school free of charge, reducing tuition fees.
Next to that, combining the resources of the State and society to build the physical infrastructure of sports and physical training in the district has initially achieved good results, serving the exercise needs of the people. The Cultural, Sports and Radio Center of Dau Tieng district with an area of about 24 hectares is invested in basic construction, consisting of: Tennis court, children's swimming pool, multi-purpose sports hall, and a 300-seat football stadium grandstand, children's house, theater hall, and some basic cultural facilities meeting the recreational needs of the people. The center has also implemented socialization work for 2 artificial grass mini football fields through the form of leasing locations, self-financing for initial infrastructure construction. In addition, the center also has a coffee shop invested by individual capital contributions.
Ms. Tran Thi Cam Tu, Director of the Cultural, Sports and Radio Center of Dau Tieng district, said that calling for social investment in the center has not really attracted organizations and individuals to participate. Currently, the center has not been able to develop a plan to use public assets for joint venture and cooperation purposes. Therefore, the center greatly needs the attention and guidance of superiors to ensure that the center's socialization work is carried out in accordance with regulations.
Challenges persist
According to the so far assessment, despite many efforts in propaganda work, mobilizing social resources, the results of implementing socialization work in Dau Tieng district have not achieved many results in various fields as well as the number of socialized works in each field has not met expectations.
One of the main reasons is that Dau Tieng district has a relatively large area, mostly agricultural and rubber workers, with low and unstable incomes; the use of cultural and sports services is still very modest so organizations and individuals are not yet bold enough to invest in socializing cultural and sports activities due to slow capital recovery capability. Although the infrastructure of the district has been significantly improved, it still does not meet current needs because the locality is far from the economic and political centers of the province.
At the working session with the provincial People's Council supervisory delegation at the end of March, Mr. Nguyen Phuong Linh, Chairman of the People's Committee of Dau Tieng district, said that despite the leadership and guidance of the Provincial Party Committee and the provincial People's Committee, due to various reasons, the attraction of investment in socialized fields has not met the local requirements. In the coming time, Dau Tieng district will continue to make efforts to overcome difficulties to effectively implement policies encouraging socialization, ensuring practical support for the people. The district also hopes that the provincial departments and agencies will have guidance documents on procedures related to socialization work to improve the legal framework and facilitate investors as well as localities. In addition, the province needs to carry out transparency and simplification of procedures for land leasing, land allocation, tax exemption and reduction policies to create favorable conditions for investors to access.
