In the afternoon of November 18, the People's Committee of Di An city in coordination with the provincial Social Insurance and the provincial Committee of the Vietnamese Fatherland Front organized the program of giving medical insurance cards (Health Insurance) - A love day card" to people with difficult circumstances in 7 wards of the city.
Accordingly, the program has awarded 1,212 health insurance cards of 3 months term to people in harsh circumstances, equivalent to an amount of about VND 247 million, supported by 3 businesses located in Di An city.
Pham Van Bay - Standing Deputy Chairman of the People's Committee of Di An city, said that the health insurance card is a solid fulcrum for each person in life, contributing to ensuring social security in the area. After the program, the city People's Committee continued to direct the People's Committees of wards to review, coordinate and call for more businesses and benefactors to join hands to help the poor and disadvantaged, especially the donation program of health insurance card; thereby, contributing to offering 100% of people in the city health insurance cards in the coming time.
