On January 10, Binh Duong Provincial Party Committee, People's Council, People's Committee, and Fatherland Front Committee held a meeting with religious dignitaries and prestigious people among ethnic minorities in the province on occasion of Spring 2025. The meeting had the participation of Mr. Nguyen Loc Ha, Standing Member of the Provincial Party Committee, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee; Mr. Bui Thanh Nhan, Standing Member of the Provincial Party Committee, Head of the Provincial Party Mass Mobilization Commission; Ms. Truong Thi Bich Hanh, Standing Member, Head of the Provincial Party Propagation and Education Committee; Mr. Nguyen Van Danh, Chairman of the Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee.
During the meeting, Mr. Nguyen Loc Ha presented the socio-economic development, national defense, and security status of the province in 2024, along with the key directions for 2025. Mr. Ha acknowledged and appreciated the contributions of dignitaries, religious followers, prestigious people and ethnic people to the process of building and developing the province over the past year.
In addition to focusing on economic development, the province continues to prioritize commensurate investment in the cultural and social fields; constantly improve and enhance the material and spiritual life of the people; fully and promptly implement and effectively enhance policies for people with meritorious services, social assistance, ensure social security, reduce multidimensional poverty, and leave no one behind. Simultaneously, the province is committed to facilitating the lawful operation of religions, ensuring equality among ethnic groups, and effectively implementing ethnic and religious policies.
Leaders of religious and esteemed individuals from ethnic minorities in the province expressed their enthusiasm for the achievements made in the past year; at the same time, they said they would actively participate in building the great national unity bloc and patriotic emulation movements to build their homeland Binh Duong to develop more and more.
Mr. Bui Thanh Nhan acknowledged and praised the positive contributions, companionship, and shared values of religious and ethnic minorities within the framework of national unity. He expressed his hope that dignitaries, officials, monks, religious followers, and respected individuals from ethnic minorities will continue to work alongside party committees and authorities at all levels to promote cultural and ethical values, join hands with the people and authorities at all levels to develop the province.
