A meeting to respond to the National Week on Clean Water and Environmental Hygiene 2017 was held in Dau Tieng district on the morning of May 15, in attendance of Mai Hung Dung, member of provincial Party Standing Committee, Permanent Vice-Chairman of provincial People’s Committee.
With the theme of “Clean water and environmental sanitation for the comprehensive development of children”, this year’s National Week on Clean Water and Environmental Hygiene aims at raising public awareness on the importance of saving clean water resources, keeping environmental hygiene in order to minimize actions causing environmental pollution and badly affecting the health of the whole community…Over the past time, Binh Duong paid more attention to environmental protection with appropriate solutions, thereby creating positive changes in awareness and action of the community and enterprises in protecting the environment and water resources, ensuring harmony between economic growth and environmental protection.
Addressing the meeting, Mr.Dung stressed that clean water and environment are the prerequisite issue in protecting the health of human being, contributing to the national development. Upon this spirit, the annual National Week on Clean Water and Environmental Hygiene bears a great significance in mobilizing people from all strata to actively engage activities in protecting the environment and water resources, building a green-clear-nice living environment for the heath of the whole community.
