On the morning of May 13, at the Provincial Children's House, Binh Duong Provincial Youth Union Standing Committee - Provincial HYPO Council organized a meeting to celebrate the 83rd anniversary of the Ho Chi Minh Young Pioneer Organization (HYPO) (May 15, 1941 - May 15, 2024). Attending the program were Nguyen Pham Duy Trang, Secretary of the Central Youth Union, Chairwoman of the Central HYPO Council; Nguyen Van Loc, Member of Provincial Party Standing Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Council; Nguyen Loc Ha, Member of Provincial Party Standing Committee, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee; leaders of departments, branches; and officers in charge of children and members’ activities.
Looking back on the 83-year tradition of the HYPO, Le Tuan Anh, Permanent Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Youth Union, Chairman of the Provincial HYPO Council, affirmed: “With the spirit of youth but greatness, over the past time, Binh Duong children have strived to promote the glorious and heroic traditions of the Youth Union and HYPO, spreading noble gestures and compassionate deeds, filled with love and sharing to everyone around. Hopefully in the coming time, children will realize their noble dreams with the desire to contribute, be worthy of being the future owners of the country. At the program, the organizing committee paid tribute to the Standing Council of the Provincial HYPO Council and heads of Youth Committee of Provincial Youth Union school; commended 2 HYPO members who won the Kim Dong award and 4 members who won the national Dien Bien small soldier title, and 71 Dien Bien small soldier members at the provincial level in 2024.
On this occasion, the Provincial HYPO Council also awarded prizes for the stamp collection contest and the writing drawing contest "Spring Journey to the Forest to the Sea" in 2024 hosted by the Central Youth Union.
