The Russian cyclist not only won the final stage but also secured his place as the overall champion of the prestigious tournament.

Trailing him in the overall standings were Savva Novikov of Nhua Binh Minh Binh Duong in second place and Samuel Jenner of 620 Chau Thoi Vinh Long in third.

In the team category, Loc Troi Group An Giang clinched the overall championship, followed by HCM City Vinama in second place, and Le Fruit Maxxis Dong Nai in third. The tournament’s Style Award was presented to the Quan Khu 7 team for their sportsmanship.

The final stage, from Tay Ninh to HCM City, coincided with the 50th anniversary of Vietnam’s reunification (April 30, 1975 – 2025). The route was lined with enthusiastic fans, and the race unfolded with fierce competition until the very last stretch.

In a thrilling sprint finish, elite sprinter Nick Kergozou of 620 Nong Nghiep Vinh Long surged ahead to win the final stage. This marked his 11th stage win of the tournament, setting a new record for the most stage victories in a single edition.

The 37th edition of the National HTV Cycling Cup drew increased international participation, underscoring the rising quality and prestige of the event. Cyclists competed with relentless determination, and the tight margins between riders kept fans on edge throughout the tournament.

At the closing ceremony, the organisers awarded over 1.5 billion VND (nearly 57,700 USD) to schools, organisations, and children's charities across participating provinces. Additionally, more than 2.5 billion VND in scholarships was granted to underprivileged students and local community programmes along the race route, highlighting the event’s strong commitment to social responsibility./.
