Minh Tan rubber plantation under Dau Tieng Rubber One-Member Co.Ltd. is now home to 806 staff. Over the past time, Minh Tan rubber plantation’s Directorate and Trade Union promoted many emulation movements among staff, contributing to well realizing the plantation’s annual targets.
Upholding achievements done, the
plantation’s Directorate and Trade Union will implement key tasks to take care
of laborers’ spiritual and material lives in the 2012 and 2014 period. Accordingly,
they will promote emulation movements among staff with the goals of reaching
the average productivity of 2 tons/ha by the end of 2004, increasing the
average income of laborers to VND7mln per capita per month.
In a bid to take good care of laborers’ livelihood, Minh Tan rubber plantation over time well realized policies on salary, social insurance, health insurance…among others. The plantation considered and donated 11 houses of compassion to poor laborers; organized tours to Vietnam’s famous tourist sites for laborers…Currently, the whole plantation has 617 laborers with moderately good living conditions and 133 ones with average living conditions; and there are 100% of laborers with means of transport and audiovisual equipment.
Between 2010 and 2012, there were 682 turns of female laborers winning the title of “two goods” , including 145 turns with the title for five consecutive years. The plantation also set up a fund giving loans without interest rates for needy female laborers. Over the past three years, 150 turns of female laborers got a total loan of VND65mln.
The plantation has also actively got involved in social charity activities. The plantation’s Trade Union and Red Cross Society gave timely help and attention to laborers with difficulties. With the spirit of “The good leaves protect the worn-out leaves”, the plantation also mobilized its staff to raise VND35mln for natural disaster-hit people…
