March’s Month of Youths comes to Binh Duong youth again. In the spirit of celebrating the 91st anniversary of the founding of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth’s League (March 26, 1931 to March 26, 2022) and welcoming the congresses of Youth’s Leagues at all levels to the 11th provincial Congress of Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth’s League in 2022-2027 tenure, the emulation movement of youth union members in the province continues with a lively, enthusiastic and volunteer spirit.

To promote the youth’s spirit
Implementing Youth Month in 2022, the whole Youth’s League promotes regular and on-site volunteering activities. Youth volunteer teams in the province participate in building new countryside, protecting the environment through the works and parts of "Lighting up the countryside", "Volunteer Saturday", "Green Sunday", planting flowers and trees on roads and building models of waste classification and treatment. Besides those works, the youths take part in building civilized cities with focus on building green, clean, beautiful and safe urban environment; remove environmental pollution black spots; replicate and improve the quality of the route models.
In urban areas, the volunteer squad also participates in propaganda to build civilized lifestyle, cultural behavior, environmental protection, and social order and safety. Under the identified contents, the whole Youth’s Leage in the province simultaneously held the day of "Volunteers joining hands in building new countryside" on March 13 and "Green Sunday" on March 20 in communes, wards and towns in the province.
In addition to volunteering to build new countryside and civilized cities, the Youth’s League organization in the province also volunteered for community life associated with the needs of social life, serving the people such as health counseling, medical examination and drug supply; donate charity houses, red scarf houses, and build children's playgrounds; organize educational activities on social practical skills for children, especially skills in prevention and control of drowning, accidents and injuries, school violence, and child abuse. In the context of the COVID-19 epidemic situation, the Youth’s League at all levels maintains a squad of young volunteers to support and participate in the COVID-19 vaccination campaign launched by the Prime Minister in order to "adapt safely, flexibly, and effectively control the COVID-19 epidemic"; epidemic prevention and control is along side with economic recovery and socio-economic development.
With the spirit of community service, Youth’s League members in the province participate in voluntary blood donation; young cadres, civil servants and public employees to support the people in administrative procedures and accompany the Youth’s League in the program of "March of the Border" to promote the spirit of impulse and volunteering of young people in participating in socio-economic development and defense - security; take care of border guards and people and children in border areas.
The implemented projects and programs include "Binh Duong Youths - Clean life, green contribution, and construction of a statue of Ly Tu Trong"; works to donate at least 10 charity houses for young people and children in difficult circumstances; the construction of a community recreation and sports area for children; organize 50 journeys to protect the environment, build a civilized urban lifestyle; organize 30 series of traditional education propaganda and training on entrepreneurship and career development for youth members.
Diversified activities
Mr. Tran Bao Lam, Deputy Secretary of the provincial Youth’s League, said that implementing the Youth Month, the provincial Youth’s League organizes provincial activities to promote the spirit of the whole league to be active in the movement of the month. In which, the provincial Youth’s League organized the implementation of the works and tasks in Di An city; meeting and exchanging all-time officials of the Youth’s League on the occasion of the 91st anniversary of the founding of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth’s League; awarding excellent Youth Union officials, commending excellent young civil servants and public employees in 2022. In addition, a number of provincial activities have been organized for 2022.
At the district level, the Youth’s League in coordination with the affiliated grassroots to simultaneously organize the implementation of projects and tasks for the youth month; directing each branch of the grassroots to carry out at least 1 project and/or youth work and directing 100% of the union to organize the festival of "Happy and healthy children" in the primary block, the festival of "Step up to the Youth’s League" in the Secondary School and Youth Day 2022.
The grassroots delegation must ensure the peak day of "Volunteers joining hands to build new countryside" and "Green Sunday" to build a civilized city, responding to the program of "Each youth of 10,000 steps per day"; a conference is organized to comment on documents of the 11th provincial Congress of Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth’s League of 2022-2027 tenure. Grassroots activities are organized in accordance with local needs and requirements for COVID-19 prevention and control in each locality.
