Investment and
Industrial Development Corporation (Becamex IDC), on June 12, donated VND1.1bln
for Vietnamese fishermen, Marine Police and Fisheries Survelliance forces in
defending national territorial waters through provincial Fatherland Front
Committee and Labor Union.

Bui Van Chien, Deputy General Director of Becamex IDC said that the money was donated by the corporation’s staff with the desiration of sharing difficulties with Vietnamese fishermen, Marine Police and Fisheries Survelliance forces protecting the national sovereignty over sea and islands.
*The same day, Thuan An town’s Fatherland Front Committee and War Veterans’Association co-held a conference on Truong Sa, Hoang Sa archipelagoes and the East Sea situation. More than 250 delegates from agencies, units and enterprises in the town attended the event.
At the conference, Nguyen Thi Thu Hong, Chairman of Thuan An town’s Fatherland Front Committee appealed for agencies and enterprises in the town to support Vietnamese fishermen, Marine Police and Fisheries Survelliance forces protecting the national sovereignty over sea and islands. In response to this appeal, many organizations, individuals and enterprises donated more than VND200mln to Vietnamese fishermen, Marine Police and Fisheries Survelliance forces.
