On February 4, Provincial Supporting Center for Youth Workers and Young Laborers organized program "Worker Spring" and "Tet feasts" to celebrate the 2024 Lunar New Year of the Dragon. At the program, the Organizing Committee gave 20 gifts, each worth 700,000 VND, and 1 electric bicycle worth 12 million VND to children of disadvantaged workers. In addition, the Organizing Committee also presented 35 gifts to disadvantaged workers, each worth 500,000 VND.
l On the morning of February 4, Di An Youth Union coordinated with Bui Buu Pagoda to organize the program "Peaceful Spring - Loving Tet" in 2024. In this program, representatives of the Youth Union and Bui Buu Pagoda visited, sent Tet greetings and presented 61 gifts of necessities to people having difficult circumstances in the city. Total value of the gifts was more than 155 million VND.
l On the same day, Tan Uyen City Red Cross Society in coordination with sponsoring units organized a delegation to visit and give Tet gifts to disadvantaged people in the area. Accordingly, the delegation presented 50 gifts to disadvantaged people in Khanh Binh ward; presented 30 gifts to patients and disadvantaged people in Ben San leprosy treatment area (Khanh Binh ward). Each gift included 10kg of rice, 1 box of noodles and other essential necessities, worth 500,000 VND/portion, sponsored by the City Red Cross.
The program also included activities such as wrapping banh chung and banh tet, decorating apricot and peach trees for Tet, and painting on conical hats.
