Early March 15, TDM town’s Farmers’ Society forwarded a conference to sum up its movement of “Good farmer in production and business” between 2009 and 2012.
Awarding the certificates of merit to farmers who won the title of “good
farmer” for three consecutive years.
The town’s Farmers’ Society over time actively mobilized the local farmers to participate in the movement of “Good farmer in production and business”, joined hands with relevant agencies to guide them how to apply sci-tech advancements in agricultural production, helped them get access to loans for agricultural production, contributing to building new rural areas.
After three-year implementation of the movement, there were 963 turns of farmer households winning the title of “good farmer” at central, provincial and town levels.

Many role-models were discovered after three-year implementation of the movement. The whole town had 2,568 out of 3,607 farmer households registering for the title of “good farmer” at all levels.
The movement was also promoted in association with many programs on population and family planning, environmental protection, social evils prevention…
On this occasion, 20 outstanding farmers were awarded the certificates of merit by the town’s People’s Committee and 100 other farmers also received certification as “good farmers” from the town’s Farmers’ Society.
