In order to join hands to prevent drowning, it is expected that on June 30, Bau Bang district will hold a launching ceremony of all people practising swimming and preventing child drowning in 2023.
The launching ceremony aims to promote the roles and responsibilities of all levels, sectors, schools, families and the whole society in developing the movement of swimming teaching and learning to gradually reduce the number of deaths due to drowning accidents.
At the same time, the district's culture and information sector promoted propaganda about the benefits of swimming practice and safety skills in the water environment and mobilized the entire population to practice swimming to improve their health, stature and physical strength for children and the community. In addition to the ceremony program, the district People's Committee also organized a swimming competition for children and teenagers.
