My Phuoc township is a political,
economic and cultural center of Ben Cat district with the natural area of
2,150.8ha and 5 quarters. The entire township has 3,984 households of 33,930
residents and 2 industrial parks of My Phuoc I and II, placing jobs for over
30,000 laborers.

Aside from job generation to improve local residents’ life, the local administration has focused on the movement of “All-people protects national security”, winning significant results. Therefore, the township has won emulation flags from the Ministry of Public Security during 11 consecutive years.
Implementing the join-resolution No.01/2001/NQLT on “spurring the movement of all-people protect national security in the new area”, the township authority has set out concrete plans to maintain order and security at the locality. Through legal promulgations, local residents have grasped legal knowledge on crime control.
The township has so far set up 3 managerial boards of lodging house areas with 17 members in a bid to help local policemen excel resident management and order maintenance. In addition, local residents offered 175 valued information sources to arrest 6 robbers, 38 thieves and 22 illegal gamblers.
