From September 29 to October 15, the 2024 National Singing, Dancing and Music Festival (phase 2) will take place in Binh Duong, hosted by the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism in coordination with the People's Committee of Binh Duong province. The festival attracted the participation of 24 art troupes from provinces and cities across the country.
This will be an important event to preserve, promote and develop the value of traditional folk performing arts of Vietnam. This also creates conditions for professional art units and artists to meet, exchange, share, and learn experiences. The festival is also an opportunity for cultural management agencies and art units to discover young talents, thereby having appropriate training and development plans. The festival aims to promote and orient art units to develop high-quality programs and works to serve the people in the coming time. This is also an opportunity to introduce and promote the image of Binh Duong land and people, the potential, strengths and socio-economic development strategy of the province to friends across the country.
The festival will open on the evening of September 29 at the stage of the Provincial Convention and Exhibition Center, and will be broadcast live on Binh Duong Radio and Television BTV2 and some local stations across the country.
The teams will perform and compete from September 29 to October 13, 2024. The organizing committee will hold the closing ceremony, introduce excellent performances, and award prizes on the evening of October 15, 2024.
