On December 2, Provincial Department of Natural Resources and Environment held a conference to review their work in 2022 and set out directions and tasks for 2023.
In 2022, the province's natural resources and environment sector inspected 1,682 organizations, handled 1,360 violations, and collected VND 45.8 billion for the provincial budget. In addition, the Department of Natural Resources and Environment held 331 citizen meetings at the department. 128/133 applications were handled, reaching the rate of 96.2%, the remaining applications are still being processed.
At the conference, the delegates expressed their opinions on problems in professional work. Leaders of the department answered questions of delegates. For issues beyond its competence, the department shall report to competent authorities for solutions.
Speaking at the conference, Ngo Quang Su, Director of Department of Natural Resources and Environment, said that despite many difficulties, the professional and coordination works of the department in 2022 attained encouraging results. He also asked that subordinate divisions and offices to continue closely following professional tasks in 2023 to successfully complete the set plan, especially the state management in land and environment fields in the area.
