Nearly 170 martial artists participate in 2025 provincial Karate Championship

From March 14 to 16, 2025, the Binh Duong Karate Championship will be held at Phu Giao district Stadium. This year's tournament features a total of 10 participating teams, comprising 162 athletes competing for victory.

According to the roster of registered participants, only Dau Tieng district did not take part in the tournament. All eight remaining districts and cities, along with two entities, Ben Cat Karate Training and Development Company and Tam Viet Company, registered to compete with a total of 162 athletes, comprising 98 male athletes and 64 female athletes.

The 2025 Binh Duong Provincial Karate Championship features two primary competition categories: Kumite and Kata, with weight divisions ranging from 50kg to over 78kg for men and from 44kg to over 62kg for women. The tournament matches will commence immediately following the opening ceremony on the morning of March 14. With excellent facilities, this marks the second consecutive year that Phu Giao district has hosted the Binh Duong Provincial Karate Championship, having done so in both 2024 and 2025.
