Trade unions at all levels in the province have recently continued to implement many innovations in negotiation activities, dialogue, and democratic regulations at the grassroots and at enterprises. In particular, the units concentrate on improving the quantity and quality of negotiation, signing and effective implementation of collective labor agreements. As a result, 2,413 out of 3,337 enterprise unions signed collective labor agreements with beneficial contents for employees such as improving working conditions and the quality of meals in the working shifts.
Along with that, trade unions at all levels also promoted consulting and offering of legal support for nearly 20,000 union members and employees, representing individual labor dispute lawsuits for 39 cases of employees claiming salary arrears, social insurance debts and compensation due to unilateral termination of employment contracts with a compensation amount of over VND 1.7 billion.
The activities of the provincial Trade Union have contributed to ensuring the legitimate rights and interests of employees, enhancing harmonious, stable and progressive labor relations at enterprises.
