Early July 29, provincial People’s Committee held a ceremony to honor nearly 600 outstanding laborers in the “working well, working creatively” emulation movement in 2017. Attending the event were Tran Van Nam, member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of provincial Party Committee, Head of provincial National Assembly delegation; Tran Thanh Liem, Vice-Secretary of provincial Party Committee, Chairman of provincial People’s Committee; Nguyen Thanh Liem, member of provincial Party Standing Committee, Head of provincial Party Committee’s Commission for Public Relations, Chairman of provincial Fatherland Front Committee; Le Huu Phuoc, member of provincial Party Standing Committee, Head of provincial Party Committee’s Commission for Propaganda and Education; Dang Minh Hung, Vice-Chairman of provincial People’s Committee; Mai Duc Chinh, Vice-Chairman of Vietnam General Confederation of Labor (VGCL).

The emulation movement of “working well, working creatively” has been launched by provincial Trade Unions at all levels and received enthusiastic response from businesses and laborers across the province. In response to the emulation movement, there were 5,621 technical initiatives and innovations from the local civil servants and laborers applied last year, bringing businesses more benefits worth VND1.5trillion. Among the technical initiatives and innovations, 5 received the certificates of merit of the VGCL and there were 7 outstanding individuals awarded the certificates of merit of the Prime Minister.
Addressing the ceremony, Mr.Hung spoke highly of achievements done by the province in the emulation movement of “working well, working creatively” and honored outstanding laborers last year. He also suggested authorities at all levels and localities to further pay attention to caring for laborers and create favorable conditions for them to continue actively taking part in emulation movements launched by the province…
Additionally, he called for laborers to further try harder, get access to sci-tech advancements, take part in the fourth industrial revolution; strive to well fulfill tasks; be proactive to research and make new subjects, solutions and creations in order to improve productivity, quality and efficiency, bringing benefits to businesses and enriching themselves; join hands with the local Party and government to building up a more civilized and modern Binh Duong city.
