TDM city’s Fatherland Front Committee (FFC), on January 2, held a conference to review its activities in 2017 and implement action programs for 2018.
Last year, the city’s FFC effectively realized many campaigns, namely “All people consolidate to build civilized urban and new rural areas”, “Vietnamese people give priority to using Vietnamese goods”, “Building civilized urban and cultural lifestyle”...There were nearly 97% of households and 94% of residential areas winning the “cultural” title. The city’s FFC also excelled at social criticism and supervision, ensured social welfare, upheld the strength of great national unity bloc, contributing to promoting patriotic emulation movements among people from all strata.
In 2018, the city’s FFC has set some major tasks, including focusing on boosting a task of propagandizing and mobilizing people to implement the State and Party’s policies and laws on socio-economic development; launching patriotic emulation movements; further improving operational contents and forms at tasks in the new context; mobilizing people to uphold the strength of great national unity bloc in civilized urban construction, contributing to build up a more civilized, prosperous and modern city.
