In 9 months of 2018, the Thuan An Town Transaction Office of Bank of Social Policies disbursed loans to 2,632 turns of poor households and other socially privileged subjects at the amount of nearly VND 109 billion with debt repayment of VND 43.197 billion. By the end of September, total balance of the office reached VND 262.310 billion with balance for 5,491 households, increasing over VND 65 billion (33%) from the beginning of the year while gaining 96% of year’s plan.
As for loans for social housing newly ruled by Decree No. 100/2015/ND-CP of the government, the office has disbursed over VND 2.230 billion to 9 employees in loans. Currently, the office is coordinating with related units for dissemination and review of households qualified for loans and guidance for preparing loan dossiers in accordance with regulations.
Staying close to direction of representative board of Bank of Social Policies Board of Management and socio-economic development orientation, in the last 9 months, the office has coordinated with related units to effectively implement credit programs in the town, significantly contributing to the national program of poverty reduction and job creation to ensure local social welfare.
