In the afternoon of September 12, the Vietnamese Fatherland Front Committee of Binh Duong province said that in the past week (from September 3 to 11), the provincial Vietnamese Fatherland Front Committee's Relief received an additional VND 16.3 billion of support for preventive activities and the fight against the Covid-19 epidemic of the province including money, goods and necessities. Since the launching date, the Relief of the Vietnamese Fatherland Front Committee of the province has received support and registered support from 682 organizations, individuals and businesses inside and outside of the province at a total amount of nearly VND 569 billion, in which, the Relief has received donations and registries to offer more than VND 259.555 billion and goods converted into money at about VND 309 billion.
For the supporting resources for the prevention and control of the Covid-19 epidemic, last week, the Relief of the Vietnamese Fatherland Front Committee of the province spent more than VND 4 billion to support the deceased Covid-19 patients and those directly involved in the fight against the Covid-19 pandemic in the province. Accumulated up to now, the Relief has spent over VND 117 billion to carry out Covid-19 epidemic prevention and control in the province.
