In 2024, the whole province has mobilized over VND 878 billion to donate gifts and support to people with difficult circumstances in and out of the province. Particularly, supporting people in the Northern provinces to overcome the consequences of storm No. 3 was over VND 133 billion together with many tons of other necessary goods and necessities, contributing to ensuring social welfare.
In addition, provincial Fatherland Front Committees at all levels coordinated with relevant units to help build and repair 129 “great unity” houses; provide capital for 1,637 people to develop production and business activities; mobilize people to donate land, crops, and support construction of roads and civil works; provide free medical check-ups, treatment, medicine and hospital fee support for 5,152 poor people and policy beneficiary families; support poor-but-excellent students; donate scholarships to disadvantaged students... with a total value of tens of billions of dong.
