Early August 14, provincial Traditional Medicine Hospital in collaboration with province-based Hue Association of Fellow-Countrymen and provincial Honda 67 Club held a charity program under the theme of “Connecting love” in Phu Giao district’s An Binh commune.
In the visiting place, the delegation provided free medical check-up and medicine for 300 poor, ethnic minority and disabled people; presented 150 gifts worth VND250,000 each, comprising of rice, instant noodle, cooking oil, sugar…, to those with extremely difficult circumstances.
The delegation also mobilized organizations and individuals to give footwear and functional food for the local people. It is known that the program has a total expense of VND80million with the goal of contributing to joining hands with people in Phu Giao district in general and An Binh commune in particular to implement the local social welfare program.
