In agricultural production, bottles and packages containing plant protection chemicals have become particular trash having adverse effects on humans, animal, and environment.
The collection of such trash has been long neglected, causing environment contamination and hazardous effects on farmers.
Thus, the Division has implemented Project No. 30 at new rural communes of the province.
Accordingly, from the beginning of 2014, the Division has checked up the collection of such trash as committed by farmer families while organizing training courses to improve awareness of plant protection chemicals and disposal of containers.
The Division has called upon the farmers to dispose such containers at trash bins established by the Division.
Under the Project 60 such trash bins have been established in 5 major communes of An Binh (in Phu Giao), An Son (in Thuan An Town), Bach Dang (in Tan Uyen Town), and Lac An (in Bac Tan Uyen District) to collect hazardous trash which shall be disposed by Binh Duong Factory of Trash Treatment.
It is expected that 360 trash bins shall be established by 2016 to collect hazardous trash from the farm and 30 store houses for plant protection chemical wastes and fertilizers shall be established in agricultural zones of the province.
The Division also aims at training courses and left-leave distribution to improve awareness and habits of farmers so as to protect the environment and create new rural area landscape.
