New technology applied in disease treatment at Van Phuc Hospital

In 2015, Provincial Department of Health carried out the investigation and inspection on year-end marking of private hospitals in the province. Majority of the hospitals have offered better treatment for patients. Of the inspected, Van Phuc Hospital was highly appreciated.

Talking to us, M.D. Vu Mong Tuyet, Director of Van Phuc Hospital, informed that the hospital has 4 branches (2 hospitals and 2 general clinics). Those facilities have been in good operations covering various departments of emergency, maternity, health examination, general internal medicines, pediatrics, dermatology, otorhinolaryngology-odonto-stomatology, para-clinics, oriental medicine, physical therapy, and rehabilitation. Totally, 399 staffs and 21 workers of improved qualifications are working for the hospital. Besides, many medicine doctors are collaborating with the hospital. Total physical beds for the hospital are 260.

Additional technological services have been implemented in 2015 in the hospital include surgeon equipment and maternity supporting devices among other therapy.

In 2016, the hospital is to be enhanced with more facility development including the new departments. Van Phuc Hospital is to develop at home examination and treatment services while constructing Van Phuc Hospital 3. Besides, Van Phuc Hospital has well coordinated with provincial hospital for training courses and technology assistance. The hospital has been offered guidance and support of Provincial Social Insurance in all aspects of payments, information update, and IT connection. By such efforts, satisfaction of patients and their relatives have been over 94% in accordance with satisfaction evaluation standards of Department of Health.

Tuyet also informed that the development of Van Phuc Hospital has been thanks to timely guidance of Provincial Department of Health and Social Insurance. More and more patients of social insurance have visited the hospital. As for social charity, the hospital has offered free examination to 1,000 patients in and outside of the province at the cost of about VND 150 million a year.
