*In Q1, 2018, the province built and donated 6 gratitude houses to policy beneficiary families with a total expense of more than VND1.1billion. Of these, 2 were given for TDM city; 1 for Tan Uyen; 1 for Bau Bang and 2 for Dau Tieng.
North Tan Uyen also offered 24 saving books worth VND24million to policy beneficiaries.
*In Q1, 2018, provincial Child Support Fund mobilized VND3.6billion from organizations and individuals; offered help to 1,770 children with difficult circumstances.
Provincial Department of Labor, War Invalids and Social Affairs also teamed up with Binh Phu secondary school in Ben Cat town to organize a talk show on the Law on Children and violence prevention at school for 1,900 pupils.
*Over the past four years, Bau Bang district introduced jobs to 10,360 laborers. The district also took good care of policy beneficiaries and disadvantaged people, especially on Tet and great holidays. Particularly, the district donated 9 gratitude houses and 46 “great unity” ones to needy people.
In addition, the number of poor households and near-poor ones in the district reduced by 132 and 113, respectively. The district has so far had a total of 123 poor households and 142 near-poor ones, or 0.79% and 0.91% of total.
