*Tan Uyen town is now home to 10 historical cultural relic sites, including one at national level and the remainder at provincial level. Over the past nine months, the town’s museum and Vinh Loi war zone relic site welcomed nearly 4,000 visitors; collected 15 objectives on the agricultural life of farmers in association with wet rice cultivation.
*With the motto of “the State and people work together”, people in Tan Uyen town over the past nine months voluntarily contributed expenditure for installation of the lighting system on the local alleys. So far, there have been 43 alleys having such installation with a total cost of around VND1.3billion.
*To uphold the “mutual love, mutual affection” spirit of trade unionists, the Trade Union of Hiep Dich Vietnam Co.Ltd. in Khanh Binh ward has just coordinated with Tan Uyen town’s Labor Union to donate nearly VND20million to Dinh Van Trung, a trade unionist with fatal disease.
*Tan Uyen town’s Military Command in collaboration with C&H TARPS Co.Ltd. has just announced a decision on the establishment of the company’s militia team with 10 members. The militia group will closely coordinate with the local administration to carry out national defence tasks as stipulated. As of now, the whole town has had 4 militia teams at foreign-invested companies.
