*Provincial Department of Cultural, Sports and Tourism has just sent a delegation to the 3rd Dong Nai Cuisine Festival at Buu Long tourist zone from December 12 to 15.
The event has absorbed 70 booths from 40 units from 9 southern provinces and cities, including Dong Nai, Ben Tre, Tay Ninh, Binh Thuan…Among them, there are 2 booths on “banh beo bi” dish and calligraphy from Binh Duong.
*In 2013, Tan Uyen district’s People’s Committee has worked out 33 works on rural traffic and urban rejuvenation. They have create favorable conditions for the local people’s goods transport and traveling, contributing to promoting the local socio-economic development. In 2014, the district is expected to realize 23 works on rural traffic and urban rejuvenation with a total investment capital of VND4bln.
*So far, there have been 17 relics reported in Dau Tieng district, including 8 provincial-level relics and 1 national-level relic. In 2013, they have absorbed more than 100,000 visitors, including those from schools and mass organizations in the province.
*In 2013, the Association for the Elderly of Lai Uyen commune in Ben Cat district admitted additional 36 members, bringing the total number of members to 902. The association has visited and presented gifts to 40 ill elderly people; maintained the activities of clubs on Taichi, singing, poetry…Currently, 80 members of the association enjoy social allowance and 19 others are being suggested for social allowances.
