*The Trade Union of the province’s health sector has just presented VND50mln to provincial Support Fund for Disable People, Orphans and Poor Patients.
Last year, the Trade Union of the sector gave VND100mln in unexpected support for 28 cases with difficult circumstances and dangerous diseases. Trade Union locals also visited and offered help of VND400mln to 692 needy cases; donated 38,000 free meals worth VND350mln to the poor.
*With the movement of “Traveling companion of youth”, the Youth Union of Tran Van Luu Rubber Plantation under Dau Tieng Rubber One-Member Co.Ltd. last year organized many activities to help and encourage the local youth in socio-economic development. Particularly, the Youth Union set up a loan support fund with VND30mln to provide interest-free loans for the local youth to develop home based business, mainly in animal husbandry and small-scale business. The movement contributed to raising Youth Union members’ annual income by VND20mln or VND25mln.
*As planned from now till 2015, the whole province will strive to have 5 communes meeting standards on new rural culture, including An Son in Thuan An town, Bach Dang in Tan Uyen district, Chanh Phu Hoa in Ben Cat district, Tan Long in Phu Giao district, Thanh An in Dau Tieng district. The province will also implement registration for the title of “Ward, township get standards on urban civilization” in 31 wards and townships for consideration and recognition in 2014.
