*To celebrate the 39th anniversary of liberation of the south, national reunification and the 60th anniversary of the Dien Bien Phu Victory, Phu Giao district’s Veterans Association has just held the 11th Veterans Singing Competition.
The competition absorbed 11 teams from the local Veterans Association branches with 55 special items performed. Finally, first prize went to Phuoc Vinh town’s Veterans Association branch. Second and third prizes were awarded to An Binh commune’s Veterans Association branch and An Thai commune’s Veterans Association branch, respectively.
*The People’s Committee of Phu Hoa ward in TDM city has just held a ceremony to visit the local monument erected to martyrs on the occasion of the 39th anniversary of liberation of the south, national reunification and the 60th anniversary of the Dien Bien Phu Victory. More than 100 civil servants and people across the ward attended the event.
*Binh Phu high school in Ben Cat town has just kicked off an art performance in celebration of great holidays, April 30, May 1 and May 7. This activity aimed to help pupils at the school know more about the historical significance of the great holidays and was also a chance for them to mutually exchange to express their flexibility, creativeness and solidarity.
