On the lunar 15th day of July, temples across the province granted more than 1,500 gifts to the poor. Of these, temples such as Hoi Khanh, Phho Thien Hoa in Thu Dau Mot city each donated 200 gifts to the poor and old people.
The remaining temples mobilized sponsors to grant to the needy with concrete gifts such as instant noodle, sugar, cake, milk, among others worth VND200,000-400,000 per package.
With the purpose of helping the visually-impaired people on the Vu Lan festival (the lunar 15th day of July), Thuan An town society for visually-impaired people enjoyed gifts funded by Hung Thinh Company, Thien Phuoc Temple, Hoi Khanh Temple. These gift packages included rice, instant noodle, among others with the total cost of about 300,000 per item.
