The school year 2019-2020 has more than 2,200 students, including 236 new students in grade 6 and 411 students in grade 10. In the school year 2019-2020, the school has 2,500 students, including 900 boarding students. At the opening ceremony, NTT Vietnam sponsored the school's SmartEdu test program. This is a modern classroom model, developed from Japan, with basic utilities such as electromagnetic textbooks on cloud computing platform, using SmartEdu's proprietary software with digital content. Along with that are smart equipment for classrooms such as interactive whiteboards, teachers' computers, tablet computers for students. This system has been applied in many schools in Japan.
Mr. Shunichi Kondo, representative of NTT Vietnam, said that after this trial, the company will cooperate with Vietnam Technology and Communication Joint Stock Company (VNTT) to bring Ngo Thoi Nhiem school and Binh Duong's elementary schools to become an advanced example of digital education in Vietnam.
