People's Committee of North Tan Uyen district held a meeting to report land use results in 2018 and approve the 2019 land use plan.
Based on the land use plan in 2018, North Tan Uyen district implemented 117 projects with the total area of 2,360 hectares. Projects using land for purposes of national defense, security, industrial production, non-farm agriculture, trade-service, historical relics... The recent approved land use planning and plan of the district provided a solid legal foundation for land administration. However, there are still some projects that take a long time to survey, design, build up, resulting in slow implementation.
In 2018, based on registration of land use demands of sectors, levels and people and the forecast of demands for agricultural and non-agricultural land, the 2019 land use plan will have many changes. Namely, agricultural land area will decrease by more than 2,000 hectares to be converted to non-agricultural land. The total number of works and projects using land that will be executed in 2019 is 111; including 11 newly registered works and 100 works transferred from the land use plan 2015-2018. Works and projects are implemented to serve economic growth, ensure social security of the whole district.
