After being
established, North Tan Uyen district’s Youth Union Standing Committee has implemented
Youth Union’s activities, teenagers and children’s movements in accordance with
the regulations of Youth Union and the instruction of the district’s Party
Standing Committee. The district’s Youth Union has also quickly rechecked the
organization apparatus of its branches.

The whole district now has 13 Youth Union branches of 10 communes and 3 high schools with more than 3,000 members; 10 Youth Federation branches of 10 communes with nearly 3,000 members and 15 young pioneer detachments of 5 secondary schools and 10 primary schools with 4,267 members. Many joint programs with other mass organizations have been signed and implemented, creating favorable conditions for the local Youth Union to well realize its entrusted tasks.
Despite having difficulties on equipment, human resources, operational orientations…, the district’s Youth Union has caught up quickly with the work. The local Youth Union organized many great activities over the past two months, bringing practical effects.
During the 2014 summer youth volunteer campaign, the district’s Youth Union will team up with Binh Duong University of Economics and Technology, Binh Duong Junior College of Agriculture and Forestry to organize summer classes for children in Tan Binh Commune; join hands with provincial Agencies Bloc’s Youth Union to present gifts to 100 poor children, provide free medical check-up, medicine and gifts for 250 poor people and young workers in two communes of Tan Thanh and Binh My; work with provincial Youth Union to kick off the 2014 Volunteer Entrepreneurs Day; make dissemination of information about Vietnam’s sovereignty over sea and islands…
According to Nguyen Trong Nhan, Secretary of North Tan Uyen district’s Youth Union, the district’s Youth Union will further make and strengthen 2014’s programs; coordinate with executive committees of the Party hierarchy to well realize personnel planning, create favorable conditions for Youth Union cadres to take part in training courses; take initiative in researching and organizing activities at the local youth’s demand.
Members of the district’s Youth Union Standing Committee have also been assigned to attend programs and activities of Youth Union branches for timely instruction and assistance.
Such these apart, the district’s Youth Union has acted as an advisor for executive committees of the Party hierarchy to set up the provisional Youth Union of the district’s Agencies Bloc; focused on preparatory work for the district’s first Youth Federation Congress for the 2014-2019 tenure, the district’s first Youth Union Congress for the 2012-2017 tenure, the district’s first Congress of Obedient Children of Uncle Ho 2014…
