At the get-together, delegates reviewed the highlights of Vietnam Red Cross Society during the past 68 years. Upholding the spirit of “The good leaves protect the worn-out leaves”, the district’s Red Cross Society over time mobilized more than VND1.3bln from organizations and individuals. The society also excelled at public healthcare and actively got involved in social charity activities, including building Red Cross houses, carrying out the “Tet for the poor and Agent Orange victims” program…with a total expense of approximately VND1.9bln.

On this occasion, 8 collectives and 34 individuals were awarded the certificates of merit for their excellent achievements to the movements of the local Red Cross Society in 2014 (photo).
