In order to improve the quality of human resources in rural areas to meet industrialization and modernization requirements in agriculture and rural areas, North Tan Uyen district’s Economic Chamber cooperated with Tan Dinh commune to organize a training course of VietGAP pomelo growing for 20 farmers who are members of Tan Dinh commune Farmers Association.
Within 3 months, trainees will be provided by provincial Agriculture and Forestry College with basic knowledge on pomelo propagation, planting and care, methods of pest control, flower processing, and practice following VietGAP... This helped farmers know how to grow and take good care of pomelo trees to create better quality for pomelos with good price, contributing to heightening the income of people, carrying out the goal of new rural construction.
