North Tan Uyen district’s Steering Committee for the Implementation of National Target Programs has just considered and voted to recommend provincial People's Committee Chairman to recognize Tan Lap as an advanced new-style rural commune and Hieu Liem as a model new-style rural commune.
Accordingly, the two communes have completed documents demonstrating the results of all 19 commune criteria meeting advanced and model new-style rural standards under the regulations. The district’s People's Committee also assessed that Tan Lap commune achieved all 19 criteria for an advanced new-style rural commune, reaching 100%, Hieu Liem commune also achieved all 3 criteria and all 8 criteria for a model new-style rural commune, reaching 100%. Besides, the level of satisfaction with the results of new-style rural construction among the people of the two communes is very high. If both communes are recognized by the province as the ones meeting advanced and model new-style rural standards, North Tan Uyen district will get all communes meeting advanced new-style rural standards. And Hieu Liem will be the first commune of the district to be recognized as the model new-style rural one.
