To ensure the regular and orderly implementation of a civilized urban lifestyle, since early this year, North Tan Uyen district has promoted and encouraged Youth Union members and residents to repair, upgrade and expand 23 roads; installed trash bins and streetlights for 29 roads that have been concreted or asphalted, with total State budget of over VND 536 million. Additionally, the district organized 407 "Civilized Saturday" campaigns, focusing on environmental sanitation, planting and taking care of trees and flowers as well as equipping 162 specialized trash containers in public places.
In the near future, all-level sectors and authorities of North Tan Uyen district will further enhance propaganda among people, encouraging them to actively participate in models and activities towards building a civilized urban lifestyle. They will also pay special importance to ensuring political security and social order while continuing effectively implementing the "Civilized Saturday" model with methods and contents suitable to the conditions and circumstances of each agency, unit and locality.
