On March 3, Women's Union of North Tan Uyen district held a meeting to celebrate the 110th International Women's Day and 1980 year of the Hai Ba Trung uprising. At the meeting, delegates reviewed the history of International Women's Day and the meaning of the Hai Ba Trung uprising; good traditions of Vietnamese women in general and North Tan Uyen women in particular.
North Tan Uyen district women are always creative in labor, study and work, overcame difficulties and helped each other; effectively implemented emulation movements and campaigns launched by superior associations, the government, and key tasks set by the association. For the performance of emulation movements, every year all levels of Women's Union of North Tan Uyen district organize for 100% female members to register for the movement "Women actively study, creative labor, build happy families", The campaign "Building 5-no and 3-clean families"; encourage women to train the quality of "Confidence - self-esteem - courage" associated with "Studying and following Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality and lifestyle".
Through annual summary, 100% union officials, over 95% members met 3 criteria of the emulation movement, 97% of households meet 8 criteria of "5 no, 3 clean".
