In the afternoon of August 24, People's Committee of Binh Duong province sent an express dispatching document to Department of Health and People's Committees of 9 districts, towns and cities of the province requesting to rectify the implementation of Covid-19 screening tests in the province.
According to the official dispatch, the province has implemented many synchronous and drastic measures to prevent and control Covid-19 epidemic. In which, sampling for screening tests was identified as a key task to promptly and quickly remove F0 cases from the community. However, at present, the coordination and direction of the sampling, data entry, testing, and returning results in some localities have sometimes not been serious, synchronous and even close and behind schedule compared to the set requirements while sampling avoidance occurs in some places.
In order for the testing to be highly effective and to promptly take measures to quarantine and treat positive cases of SARS-CoV-2, the provincial People's Committee assigned Department of Health to coordinate with People's Committees of districts, towns, and cities to strictly implement large-scale screening and sampling in the community and to absolutely avoid sampling avoidance situation. The sampling process must ensure coordination, data entry and timely return of results. In case of detecting any violation of regulations on infectious disease surveillance and failure to conduct testing at the request of a competent health agency, it will be strictly handled and must be tested in accordance with regulations.
At the same time, the chairmen of the People's Committees of the districts, towns and cities are responsible for the omission of subjects taking samples for testing and for people who avoid taking samples without taking timely measures.
